A Lavender Bath Ritual at Home: Simple Steps for a Calmer Evening

Rituals · 2026-10-18 · 3 min read · by EKSEERA team · reviewed by Dr. Tasneem

Sometimes all we need at the end of the day is half an hour that feels like it belongs to us. This ritual is simple and needs few things.

What you need

  • Lavender bath salts (EKSEERA lavender salts)
  • A soy candle in a safe spot
  • A clean, warm towel
  • A light massage oil to finish

Steps

1. Set the scene. Dim the lights and light a candle away from curtains, children and pets. Trim the wick to about 5 mm before lighting.

2. Prepare the water. Warm, not hot. High heat can dry the skin.

3. Dissolve the salts. Follow the pack instructions and let the salts dissolve before you step in.

4. Rest. Stay as long as feels comfortable and take a few deep breaths. There is no "right" time; if you feel dizzy or uncomfortable, get out right away.

5. Dry off and care for your skin. Pat dry gently and finish with a small amount of massage oil on healthy skin.

Before you begin

The salts are for external use. Avoid broken or irritated skin, and if you have allergies, a skin condition or are pregnant, ask your doctor first. Always put the candle out before you sleep.

Also try our foot-soak salts when you want something quicker after a long day.
