How to Store Your Perfume and Make the Scent Last
Your perfume can stay with you for a long time if you store it well and know how to wear it.
Storage
- Away from direct sunlight: light and heat affect aromatic oils.
- A stable temperature: better than the bathroom, where conditions keep changing.
- Close the cap well after every use.
- Keep the original box if you have it.
Wearing
Spray on pulse points: wrists, sides of the neck, behind the ears. Warmth helps the scent bloom.
Do not rub your wrists together after spraying; it breaks down the scent quickly.
Moisturise first: hydrated skin holds scent better. Use an unscented or lightly scented cream or lotion.
From a suitable distance: about 15–20 cm.
How many sprays?
One or two for the day is enough, three for the evening. Be considerate in small or crowded spaces.
Safety
Perfume is for external use only, away from eyes and flames, and not for children. Patch-test first, and check each product's ingredients and safety file.
